Wow! This has been a super eventful week. Rory got really sick on Sunday with severe stomach pain. I finally convinced him to go to the doctor on Monday and he was admitted into the hospital. They thought for sure it was his appendix, but they did a ct scan and ultra sound and decided it was something else. His white blood cell count, liver enzymes, and inflammation counts were extremely high, so they monitored him over night. The next morning they ran some more tests and decided he was well enough to go home. They scheduled a nuclear med scan for yesterday, it scans for gallbladder and other intestinal problems. It took about 2 hours, but we still haven't received the results from that. He says he's feeling a lot better and went back to work today. I hope that whatever it was isn't something that is going to be reoccurring and that he can recover quickly.
Today the mischievous leprechaun visited our house. He turned all our pictures and decor upside down, hung St. Patrick's Day necklaces from our dining room chandelier, colored our milk green, tied our fridge shut, and left green treats for the kids lunches. Then that sneaky leprechaun snuck St. Patrick's Day jokes into their lunchboxes for a fun lunch surprise. I don't know how he does, but he also snuck into Kinlee's Kindergarten class and messed up their classroom and left a pot of gold. He then went to Matthew's class and did the same, but this time he left his footprints all over the tables. He is such a fun and crazy guy and the kids always look forward to his annual visit!
