Happy Halloween!!

For Halloween we went to our wards annual Trunk or Treat. I made Taco Soup, but there were so many delicious soups there that I didn't even try it. It was raining like crazy, so we left Kinlee with Debbie since Trunk or Treat is usually in the parking lot. They decided to have it inside the church so we paraded from room to room and collected candy. Afterward we went around Debbie's neighborhood and finally headed home. We had so much fun and I am really looking forward to the holidays.

Side note: Kadee has decided she wants to go by her full name, Kadence. I was telling Connor that we really need to try and remember to call her Kadence instead of Kadee. He thought for a minute and then excitedly said, "Ok, you can call me Chuck then!"

Grandma's Pumpkin Patch

I feel like all I have time for these days are quick updates. As I have mentioned before, this is my journal, so I feel it's important to update, but have a hard time finding the time. Kadee is in dance twice a week and gymnastics once a week, Connor just finished up flag football, and we all know how demanding newborn babies are. Hopefully one day soon I will feel like myself again and will rejoin the blogging world. For now this is it!

Debbie planted pumpkins in her garden this year and invited all the kids up to pick their own pumpkin. Well, we happened to go up in the middle of a massive rain storm so we pretty much grabbed our pumpkins and ran. We then headed to Kyle and Candee's to celebrate Landon's 4th birthday. The kids carved their pumpkins and then we had delicious cake and Landon opened presents. Kinlee had so much fun laying on the floor talking to MyKella. She would smile and coo at her like crazy. Connor and Kadee had so much fun and love spending time with their cousins.

Connor's Pumpkin was as big as him!

Kadee knew which one she wanted for a week before we actually picked them.

The next day a missionary from Fruita, CO came with 20 of his young men to visit the wonderful town of Wellington. He served his mission here in 1998 and spent a lot of time with Rory's family. It was really fun getting to know him and hear his mission stories. Debbie served sloppy joes and then had a fireside in her basement. We didn't get to stay since we already had plans to go to Orangeville, but it was a fun quick visit. Lucky (the missionary) told us that the first week he was transferred to Wellington he went with Debbie to drag Rory out of some girls house. It turns out it was my house, and I don't even remember it. I thought that was kind of a fun story, since Rory and I are now married with 3 kids, it is so crazy how life turns out.

We finally made it to Orangeville to take a picture of all the Curtis grandkids. There are 8 living and 1 who returned to his Heavenly Father shortly after he was born. I haven't talked about him much, but that baby has changed my whole life and has made me appreciate my babies so much more. He was due the same day as Kinlee and was born a few days after her. Jesse & Chancie had to say goodbye right after he was born and I admire their strength. I am so grateful that I am sealed to my family forever and that nothing can break that bond. I don't really know why I felt I should write the experience down, but I felt that I should, so there it is.

2 Months Old

Kinlee turned 2 months old on Friday, I really can't believe it. It has gone by so fast and so slow at the same time. She is really smiling a lot now and goos & coos like crazy. She loves to be held and is sleeping until about 4 in the morning. She LOVES her pacifier, way more than my other two ever did. As long as she has that thing in her mouth she is a happy baby. We love having her in our family & love giving her lots of kisses.

My beautiful baby!!
