Merry Christmas To All!!!

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. Between all the fun parties, visiting Santa, and opening presents this was one of the best Christmases yet! On Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Debbie's house for a delicious dinner, to hear the Christmas story, and to open presents. I was so impressed with my nephew Logan. He knew so much of the Christmas story and was excited to share it with us. Christmas morning we got up super early and opened presents. That Santa is a smart guy. He brought the kids everything they wanted and more. After opening presents we headed to Nana Kelli's for our annual Christmas breakfast. As always it was delicious! My kids were spoiled some more and then it was off to home. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and visiting with family. Saturday we had the Curtis family over for dinner, visiting, and a super fun game called the Name Game. It was so nice to see everyone and all the cute babies my cousins have! It was such a great Christmas we had lots of family, lots of friends, and lots of fun. Hope your Christmas was just as wonderful and we hope you have a great New Year!

Kadee and I in our adorable matching aprons. Kadee is so excited to help mommy cook. She even wore her apron to Nana's so she could help her.

The Curtis grandkids. There are 10 grandkids and 7 great grandkids. Oh ya, and a couple spouses, LOL

Here's to an amazing 2010!

Family Pics 09

My mom took pictures for us on Thanksgiving day and they turned out great. I think next year we will plan a little bit better and take them when the leaves are changing colors. My kids love to have their pictures taken and Kadee is constantly posing. I think she learned that from her dance class. :) She rarely just smiles in a picture, and therefore in all of her pictures she is making some sort of goofy face. We love it though and wouldn't have it any other way. Connor on the other hand, wants to do exactly what his dad is doing. If his dad is smiling, he is going to smile. I swear if I let him he would build a shrine to his dad in his bedroom. Speaking of bedrooms, he now wants a Transformers room. Lucky for me, Santa is getting him a Transformers bedspread for Christmas. I want to deck out his room with wall stickers and such... I think I will save that project for the new year.

Anyway, here are a few of our pictures...enjoy!

Take note of Kadee's face, she is such a ham!

The picture in the middle is the actual Christmas card I sent out, I didn't notice Kadee's finger until after all the cards had been mailed... oops!

Oh, Christmas Tree...

On Monday night we put up and decorated our FAKE tree. Rory hates that we have a fake tree, I love it! My mom and dad get the kids Hallmark ornaments every year, so we have made it a Dr. Seuss/ colorful tree. I think it turned out very cute and the kids had lots of fun. Connor even colored a picture, put it in an envelope, and placed it under the tree. I am not sure who the letter is for, but I thought it was thoughtful.

I told Rory and the kids to pose for the camera and this is what I got
