April and May have been a blur. We moved into the new house so it's been a very busy time in our lives. The kids are really enjoying having their own space and I am truly in love with our forever home. We still have a lot to work on and a yard to put in but it's ours and we have all the time in the world to get it all done. We have been pretty good about sticking to the quarantine, but we did have a Cinco de Mayo party and the kids had a couple friends over. School is out and it's really weird because I didn't get any end of school year pictures (well I got one of Kadee outside of Mont Harmon since she will be in high school next year) and the yearbooks haven't been handed out yet so it feels incomplete.
We adopted some kittens. We had three, but poor Kinlee has the worst luck with animals. Her little kitten, Grace disappeared and we were never able to find her, so now we only have Oreo and Macy, Dash likes to play with them and they have already gotten so big!

Kadee was thrilled to find out she made the Carbon High Cheer team. She is so excited to cheer in high school and can't wait for practices to start. She has been babysitting this summer and has already saved quite a bit of money for a car and college. She is very motivated and knows exactly what she wants.

For Mother's Day my mom took Shawnee (Jerod's girlfriend) and I up to Provo for pedicures and lunch. As you can see in the picture we had to wear masks wherever we went and we had to eat lunch in the car, but it was so fun to spend time together and have a relaxing day away. On Sunday we went to Debbie's for a bbq and had so much fun seeing all the family.
We were able to spend Memorial weekend with grandma Bet, Uncle DR, and Tain's family, even my cousin Randi who lives in Indiana was there. We went and had dinner at the Outlaw Cafe in Wellington, Connor got a job there as a cook so we thought it would be fun to go and make him cook for us. He was nervous but he did a great job!
Next weekend we are headed on a camping trip with the Bradley clan. We will be camping for my birthday but I'm excited for a break from the world and some time to relax with my family.
