First Day of Preschool

Preschool started the first of September, but I took a few weeks off to spend time with the baby. I decided that since I wasn't going, Kadee wasn't either. Well my maternity leave ended on Tuesday so Kadee and I headed to Preschool. I can't believe this is her last year and that she will go to Kindergarten next year. I have really missed not having Connor with me at school, so I don't know what I will do when I don't have Kadee either. She has been so bored with Connor gone all day and so she was very excited to start school again. She even laid out her back to school outfit the night before. She says her favorite thing about preschool is that she gets to come to both my classes.

A baby blessing

Sunday, September 26th, Rory blessed our baby girl. It was one of the happiest days of my life. I felt the spirit so strong and my kids all looked so beautiful, it was such a wonderful feeling to finally have my family complete. Rory did an amazing job blessing her. He is such a wonderful daddy and has helped me so much as I adjust to life with 3 kids. After the blessing we had close friends and family over for lunch. It was such a perfect day and I am so greatful that I got to spend it with my family.

It's What Fun Is

Derk & Debbie bought the family tickets to Lagoon for Saturday. It was such a blast! When we got there, Connor wasn't so sure about the rides. He clung to my side until Zac convinced him to ride the Tidal Wave, after that I couldn't get him off the rides. Kadee was excited from the moment we got there. She has no fear. She wanted to ride every ride, and cried that she wasn't big enough to ride the white roller coaster. Kinlee slept through the whole thing, I think she enjoyed all the noise.

At the entrance. This was my first Frightmares experience and it was so much fun!

Kinlee's first trip out of Price, she rode in the stroller the whole time we were at Lagoon, she was an angel.

Kinlee and I on her first ride ever, the train.

Connor got a little sick on one of the rides.

First Day of School

My baby went to Kindergarten today. I have mixed emotions about it. His teacher is Mrs. Pyper and he was SO excited. I took him to his classroom, hung out with him for awhile and he said, "you can go mom." I teared up a little. I then went back to the school and had lunch with him. He had a massive hot dog for his first school lunch and then we headed out to the playground. He hugged and kissed me, and off he went. I teared up a lot. I watched the clock the rest of the day and headed to pick him up. He saw me pull up, smiled, and came running. I think I'm going to be ok, and I think he is going to be great.

Sitting in class, ready to learn

Connor came home so excited to read to us. They made a book in class entitled, "I Can Read Colors." He read it to every member of our family at least twice. I had to laugh because he wanted 2 hot dogs for his after school snack, he already had a huge hot dog for lunch, so I am a little worried he is going to turn into one! I am just so happy he likes school and I hope it stays that way.

Crazy Life

Holy cow, welcome to my crazy life! I can't believe how different it is to have 3 kids. Some days I don't shower until 11 and the kids aren't dressed until lunch. Other days go much more smoothly, I don't know what I am going to do when school starts next week.

Kinlee is doing well. She had her 2 week appt today and the doctor said she looked great. He checked everything and we ended up putting her on a different formula. She has been very colicky and we are hoping this helps her belly settle down a little bit.

Connor had his Kindergarten testing yesterday. He did great! He is so smart and is so excited for school. After his testing I took him to Coldstone for ice cream. We rarely get to do things just us two, so it was nice. He has decided to play football this year and it starts on Sept. 15.

Kadee has been my little angel. She loves playing with friends and is so excited for dance to start. She thinks she is doing cheer too, but there is no way we are going to be dancing/cheering 4 days a week. She has really grown up the last few weeks and loves to hold her sister, help me bathe her, and comb her hair. I think she thinks Kinlee is her own personal baby doll.
