Weekend Away

This weekend my mom took the kids so Rory and I headed to Salt Lake. We went to the Gateway Mall and shopped in the rain and then we went to see My Bloody Valentine 3D. Oh ya, that's right. Rory LOVES horror movies. Me, not so much. I had my eyes closed for about 90% of the movie. The 3D effects were really neat though. They are going to have the new Ice Age movie in 3D there, so I think we will take the kids when it comes out. We then went to the Home Depot and Rory got a new drill/saw combo. I got a shelf for our laundry room. I was so excited. It's the little things :) We then went to dinner at Red Robin and back to the Little America. I love that place. It is so nice and clean. We got in the hot tub and Rory met this guy that plays in all the Hailstorm church movies. I had already gone back to the room because I wasn't feeling so hot. Turns out K wasn't either. My mom said she had a fever and had to keep running to the bathroom, poor thing. We then went to the Little America Breakfast buffet and did a little more shopping and headed home. It is so nice to get away every once in awhile. I love my kids, but the break tends to make me a better mom. I just wanted to tell my mom and my grandparents thanks for everything... we couldn't have done it without you!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Sorry to hear about Kadee not feeling well but at least you know she was in loving hands! I hope Rory puts up your laundry shelf now because like you said its the little things that are exciting especially when you have a new house and sometimes it takes forever to get those little things done. I'm sure he will, if not hide his new tools! ;)

I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WAS CONNOR THAT WASN'T FEELING GOOD. IT'S GOING TO PASS THROUGH THE WHOLE FAMILY. WHAT A GOOD MOM YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF POOR LITTLE KADEE! SO ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES??? I WOULD. I HATE HORROR MOVIES. I AM GLAD YOU HAD FUN...EVEN THOUGH I KNOW YOU MISSED US NOT BEING THERE. AND WHEN YOU TAKE THE KIDS TO THE 3D ICE AGE CAN WE GO TOO? IT SOUNDS LIKE FUN. GIVE KADEE A KISS FROM ME AND I HOPE EVERYONE STARTS FEELING BETTER. BTW I AM DEFINITELY GLAD WE DIDN'T GO BECAUSE LANDON STARTED THROWING UP IN THE NIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT. GOOD TIMES!!

Sarah! Work with me! I haven't called the shopping show for over a month and I call today and you outbid me! I guess I outbid you first, but I turned the radio off when I was ready to call so I didn't know you wanted the car detail too! I'm bummed, I really need it!
