We then went up to Helamen Hollow with Ror's family and went sledding. Connor loved it, but Kadee went down the hill one time and she was done. So we went inside and she played with Danae and Booga.
Saturday we went to our annual Branch girl brunch. Laurie and Dena are turning (or have turned) 50 this year. Happy Birthday girls!!! As always we laughed and gossiped a little and ate too much. They are some pretty fun ladies. I'm glad that Debbie includes her daughter in laws in all that stuff, in return I try to explain the ways of the world to her so she isn't quite so naive.
Last night Kadee and I decided to put curlers in her hair. She sat so still and was so excited to look like a "princess." She slept on them all night and really didn't want me to take them out this morning. I explained to her that the point of the curlers was to curl her hair and we needed to see if it worked. Boy did it! I told her she looked like a cute little poodle. She didn't like that too much. She kept saying "I want to look in the mirror, I look like a princess."

Kadee's hair looked so cute curled! Brooklynn used to wear curlers and now she pulls them out, so I have to wait until she is a little older and try again.
I sooo had those curlers growing up. Kadee's hair looks cute! And I sooo remember how excited I was when I got a baby alive for christmas!

How is Aniston your niece? She is Elise's daughter, right? They used to be in our ward.
Kadee looks like a princess (way too cute)! I used the pink curlers in Heather's hair too and I even used "dippity doo". (You are probably to young to know what that is!)
As for Debbie, I think you will never catch her up to the world......but nice try!! I do know that Debbie loves her daughter-in-laws very much!
We'll have to get together someday and I will tell you some stories of Derk & Debbie!!!!!! I have the dirt :) !!

Sarah my girls love it even if BRI had a moment or was it like hours.LOL Aniston is going to be a good babay sittier one day. Better take advantage like i did with you when she was little. I love the curls i remember doing that to Ann's hair 2 the key is to do it when its dry then its not so curly poodle like and if you twist it a put it around it looks more like a ringlet. Thanks for letting them sleep over we need to gte together more often.
I have never had luck with curlers so it's good to see that someone got them to work. She looks so cute.
