Monster High Cheerleader:
Or an Angel...
We hope you have a happy and safe Halloween!
The Friday before Halloween Debbie had her annual "Witches Night Out" with all her granddaughter's. I wish I would have taken pictures because it turned out so cute! She made all sorts of Halloween goodies, they decorated t-shirts, made magnets, decorated pumpkins, and went on a spooky witch hunt outside. I was the witch hiding in the club house and scared all the kids except Kinlee who shouted, "I found my mommy!" The girls LOVE this tradition and told grandma she has to have her witches night out forever! Saturday was our ward trunk or treat. Rory and I made some yummy Broccoli Cheese Soup and while it was cooking I went with Nana, Brileigh, Elise, and Kadence to the play "Annie." It was Kadence's first time going to a play and she loved it. After the play Rory, the kids, and I headed to trunk or treat. After eating Kadence got a really bad belly ache and Rory was in lots of pain from getting a 1/2 in Russian Olive thorn stuck in his foot, so they went home and left us to trunk or treat by ourselves. The ward had some fun games and the kids love going around to all the rooms in the church and collecting candy. Halloween night Debbie made all of us delicious chicken noodle soup, rolls, and sugar cookies. After stuffing our faces we trick or treated all over her neighborhood and the kids even got to go to a Spook Alley at one of Debbie's neighbor's houses. It was such a fun start to the holiday season and I am so very excited for Thanksgiving!!
