This year Rory helped Connor make an Angry Birds Valentine Box. Kadee made a cute mail truck at school, and Kinlee didn't make anything, but enjoyed all the Valentine goodies. Debbie had her annual Valentine Dinner and all the kids had a Valentine Party at school. I really appreciate all the hard work that goes into parties and Holidays. I think we sometimes forget how hard the teachers and volunteers work to make sure it's successful. My kids have the best teachers and I am so grateful for them. We had parent teacher conferences last week and they had nothing but good things to say about my kids. The kids are both doing so well in school and were able to set some goals with their teachers. Kadee's goal was to be on Level D of the leveled reading books by the end of Kindergarten and to make all of Mrs. Penry's 100% club groups (she only has the math one left). Connor's goal was to learn to play the guitar (oh boy!) and to complete the third grade sight word list. That's right, he is already working on his third grade sight words! That boy is a reader! I am super proud of both my kiddos and can't wait to see the wonderful things life has in store for them.
