Happy May!

Wow, May has been busy, busy, busy. We started off the month with a field trip to a real Kindergarten class. I think the kids really enjoyed it. The teacher, Miss Melissa at Castle Heights was super nice and told them what to expect when they go to kindergarten. We then got to play on all the cool playground equipment (it was so cold that day though) and then check out the bathrooms and the drinking fountain (the kids favorite part).

Mother's Day we went to grandma and grandpa Branch's house for a bbq. The food was delicious (as always) and I ate way too much (as always). Rory's little cousin Axel was there and Kadee and I got a kick out of making him laugh. I think it made Kadee very excited for the new baby, but also very territorial. She kept telling me to put the baby down and hold her, it is going to be interesting here at our house in a couple months.

This last Thursday we took another preschool field trip. This time it was to the Dino Mine Park and the kids had a blast. I was a little worried because it had rained tow days prior, but it ended up being a beautiful day. It was a great way to end the school year and I am so excited for my first preschool graduation on Tuesday.

Chet, Gavin, Connor, and Cole
These boys are VERY mischievious when they get together, but it has been so fun having them in my afternoon class.

Kadee and Austin, very good friends. She will miss him next year

Finally Friday night we went to Kadee's first dance recital. I think I was more excited than she was. We weren't allowed to take pictures during the actual performance, but I got some cute pics of her before and after and of course we recorded it. She got a rose from Nana Kelli and Grandma Debbie and LOVED all the attention. Yes folks, I think I have a dancer on my hands. I signed her up for Pee Wee Baseball and she doesn't act the least bit excited. She just wants to know when cheer camp is and when she starts dance again. Connor on the other hand, can't wait. He has been practicing every chance he gets and is still absolutely obsessed with basketball. Debbie gave him her old Playstation and that has been an adventure itself. We have limited his time on it, but he probably asks Rory 100 times a day to play it with him.

Well I guess that is all for now, more to come next week after my preschool graduation, wish me luck!!!!

Your such a cute preschool teacher! Your graduation will be amazing! :) I love the picture of Rory and Connor playing the play station. The dance recital was so cute and the girls did so good. Cheer will be a fun thing for them to do together. Kella is really excited about it.
