Connor had his first talk in Primary yesterday. I found it on the internet and it happened to be the same topic as the sharing time lesson. He really enjoyed it but when he went to sit down a little boy in his class had stolen his seat and he was so upset. He started crying and ran back into his dad's arms. After that I had a hard time getting him to go to class. Once I got him to go in he was fine, but he was really upset there for a minute. Here is his talk:
When I take the sacrament, I renew my baptismal covenants
Each Sunday, before the bread and water are passed, a priesthood holder says a prayer. If you listen carefully, you will learn that the sacrament is a very special way to remember our Savior.
When the sacrament is being blessed and passed, we should do our very best to be reverent. We should bow our heads and quietly think about the love that Heavenly Fatehr and Jesus Christ have for us. Here is a little poem that helps me remember how I should act during the sacrament.
I'll fold my arms, I'll bow my head, and quiet, quiet be; As the sacrament is blessed, I will remember Thee.

Wow! Connor looks like a mineature Rory! What a cute talk!
How cute...I actually had to teach sharing time yesterday...I could have used his little talk! I was just called to be in the primary pres, and I have no Idea how primary works...this is my first time! Congrats Conner...what a cutie.
Sarah, it is at the Gateway and I think the best way to find it is to just park in the underground parking, and then there are a lot of signs down there that show you where to go...I think it is like 4th east and 1 south or something like that...but it is on rio grand street. don't know if that helps but if you get into the underground parking you will be able to find it no sweat! Have so much fun!
Wow, how cute! What a good boy. I love to hear little kids talks and testimonys. they are so innocent. Good job!
Connor you did awesome!!! We were all so proud of you...I am glad you are in Kella's class because she loves to go to Sunbeams with you. Keep up the good work and Heavenly Father must be so proud of you!
Sarah you are such a cute and good mom...Sometimes the kids come so unprepared that helps us out when they are so excited to participate! Thanks again babe and next time I will keep my eye his chair :)
I hear you are teaching preschool this year. Heather Baker was saying that you were going to be one of her daughters teacher. I was like, I don't think I would let Sara teach your kids. Another girl was like yeah, I'd get a new teacher. We both thought it was the older daughter who is going to 6th grade. We said she didn't go to school to be a teacher, she doesn't have her certificate. We all laughed when Heather said it is preschool. Both of us were like in that case, she'll be great! It was probably funnier if you were there.
Well I bet you would be a great 6th grade teacher too though, degree or not. I've seen how you prepare for classes that you are taking, I can't even imagine the preparation you would put into a class you are teaching!!
That is so cute that Connor had his first talk, and that Rory helped him! Gwen hasn't talked yet and I am surprised because there aren't very many primary kids in our ward. Well, I love you, call me sometime.
Connor looks like a little missionary, he's so cute!!
I agree with Candee, it is so nice to have Moms that take time like you do to prepare these children and it gets them so excited and proud of what they are doing, keep up the good work! Love ya.
Hi Sarah,
I agree the you'd be a great teacher because I've witnessed some of the greatest lessons in R.S. taught by you!!
Anyway, all you have to do to get the recently updated blog list on your blog is by going into the customize portion of your blog, click on add a gadget and it's the first option on the list. Then you have the trouble of putting in your long list of friends URL's into the new list. Good Luck!
