Kinlee Gayle Bradley

Little Miss Kinlee
Born Sunday, August 15, 2010 @ 10:25 am
7 lbs. 14 oz.
20 in. long

My water broke around 2:30 am. I headed to the hospital, had an epidural at about 5:30 am, and delivered Kinlee at 10:25 am. This may be too much information, but this was the hardest labor I've been through. She was my biggest baby so that probably had a lot to do with it. I had an epidural, so it could have been a lot worse, but I wasn't sure I could do it! She was so worth all the pain though, she is beautiful and we love her so much. My doctor was awesome and we couldn't have asked for better nurses. Lori and Janet were our delivery room nurses and they were a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Lori has been there for all 3 of our babies so we were so glad she was there for this one.

The kids were a little nervous at first, but all the nervousness is long gone. Kadee is obsessed and asks every 2 minutes if she can hold the baby. Connor has been such a big helper, he has made things so easy on me. Rory took the week off work to help me out and has been amazing. We are so excited to have the final addition of our family here.

Go Jazz Go!

Today we took the kids to meet the newest draft pick for the Utah Jazz, Jeremy Evans. Carbon Rec and Junior Jazz set it up at the BDAC and it was such a great time. The kids were able to play games with Jeremy, ask him questions, get his autograph, and have their picture taken with him. Connor, Kadee, Taylor, and Zac sat on the sidelines and watched, but all the other cousins loved it and were right in the middle of all the action.

Wellington Pioneer Days

As always we had so much fun at Wellington days. The kids rode in the parade on the Bradley float, Kadee danced on stage, we rode all the rides, played all the games, and ate some delicious food. We also went to the Wellington Rodeo where Connor and my nephew Landon rode the sheep. They both did a great job and Connor was so brave, the sheep stepped on his hand and he didn't shed a tear. He did cry however, when he didn't catch a chicken in the chicken chase. Silly boy. I didn't get any pictures of Connor for some reason, but here are a few of Kadee on the float and dancing.

My Wish and Fix You

I love these 2 songs and every time I hear them I think of my beautiful kids. This post is dedicated to my kids, I hope someday they know how much I love them and how blessed I feel to have them in my life. I love you guys!

"My Wish"

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

"Fix You"

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And on your face I...

Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And on your face I...

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Almost Ready!

With only a few weeks left, we decided we better start getting everything ready for this baby. I have been cleaning (nesting) like crazy and decided we needed to get the bassinet put together. We've had this bassinet since Connor was born and my mom had put it together for us while he was in the NICU. We left it put together for Kadee, but took the cloth part off to clean it after Landon. Well, it took Rory and I about 2 hours to figure out how to put the cloth part back on the bassinet. We pulled up the manual online, tried everything we could think of, but had no success. Finally, when we were about to give up Rory had an idea. It worked! We finally go the bassinet put together. I think we are ready!!

Bowling and Winger's

For Connor's 6th birthday we had a bowling party. Originally we were going to go swimming at the National 9 Inn Pool in Wellington, but when Rory called to reserve it they said it was drained and they didn't know if they would have it ready by the 6th. So we opted for plan B and went bowling at Gateway Lanes in Helper. I had myself a little stressed out because we invited 19 kids. Only one didn't show up. Although there were what felt like a million kids, the party went smoothly. We were the only ones at the bowling alley so we didn't have to stress about the kids bugging other people. They had a lot of fun and Connor was so happy to have so many friends there. He got some awesome presents and had a Transformers Cake, it was delicious.

After the party we went to Winger's for dinner. My kids get to pick what they want for dinner on their birthday. Connor has picked Winger's the last three years. Grandpa Derk and Nana Kelli came with us to dinner and it was so yummy. Grandpa Gary was out of town and Grandma Debbie was still in the hospital. She was released that night and we are so happy she is feeling better. The waiters and waitresses sang a birthday song to Connor and brought him a huge serving of Asphalt Pie. He was so embarrassed. He half hid under the table until they walked away, silly kid. I hope he enjoyed his birthday and thanks to everyone that came and helped with the party.
